complex.
Each winter
one of the world's great mountain resorts comes to life. The Alpine
skiing is unrivaled for world class terrain and awe inspiring views.
Long, groomed runs provide comfortable cruising for those so inclined
while expansive bowls and steeps beckon the more aggressive.
The Alpenhof
Lodge truly reflects the warmth and comfort of a Bavarian country
Inn. The 42 deluxe rooms and suites are handsomely appointed with
handcrafted Bavarian furnishings. Some rooms have fireplaces and
/or balconies, all with luxurious down comforters. Our junior suites
feature Jacuzzi tubs, heated tile floors, heated towel racks and
hand carved accents. From the fruit basket to welcome you to your
room to the nightly turndown service and mints on your pillow the
Alpenhof's commitment to excellence in guest services is ever evident.
Steeped in the
tradition of European hospitality, the Alpenhof Lodge stands as
the lodging benchmark in Teton Village and Jackson Hole. The Alpenhof's
long standing reputation for service excellence and guest satisfaction
stems from its original owners, Dietrich and Anneliese Oberreit
of Switzerland and Germany, respectively. They designed their intimate
alpine retreat to reflect the charm and subtle elegance of the fine
country inns of Bavaria. It is in that spirit that we invite you
to our lodge at the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on
the border of Grand Teton National Park.
The closest
hotel to the lifts, the Alpenhof is steps away from the Bridger
Gondola and Aerial Tram, whisking intermediate and advanced skiers
up Rendezvous mountain; and high speed quad chairs taking beginners
and intermediates to less demanding terrain on Apres Vows. Mid-day
you can ski right to the Alpenhof's door for a hearty skier's lunch
and steaming hot beverage to fuel up for the afternoon.
After your day
of winter activities join your friends for aprés-ski in front
of the Bistro fireplace or slip into the hot tub and outdoor heated
pool prior to having those tired muscles soothed by one of our massage
therapists.
Once you've
recovered, its time for a romantic dinner downstairs at the Alpenrose,
Jackson Hole's only Four Star restaurant. Or, if you prefer, take
in more casual dining in our Bistro. Either way, experience the
warmth and glow of the Alpenhof at nightfall prior to heading out
for some of the valley's legendary nightlife or retiring to your
room. At the end of your day slip under your goose down comforter
for a sound sleep and dreams of another glorious day in Jackson
Hole.
